CAUGHT IN THE ACT: The Crimes of the U.S. Park Police, The Face of Totalitarianism and Disproportional Illegal Assaults

Posted by pwl on May 29, 2011

The Government doesn’t have the right to stop people from expressing themselves in non-violent ways regardless of where they are. Read the USA Constitution, doesn’t say anything about the rights of citizens being suspended in the Rotunda of the Jefferson Memorial.

Arrest the police offices for assault and false arrest and for wasting the public money, which is fraud on their part.

The Government doesn’t have the right to stop people from expressing themselves in non-violent ways regardless of where they are. Read the USA Constitution, doesn’t say anything about the rights of citizens being suspended in the Rotunda of the Jefferson Memorial, in FACT it says the opposite!

The court’s decision stems from 2008, when Mary Oberwetter was arrested by police for dancing at the Jefferson Memorial on the eve of the former president’s 265th birthday. Oberwetter, then 28, was charged with a misdemeanor count of interfering with agency functions, and was later released.
Oberwetter sued the Park Service in 2009, saying that her arrest for dancing was a violation of her First Amendment rights. In her suit, she asked U.S. District Judge John D. Bates to stop the Park Service from preventing such demonstrations in the future.

In his final decision, Bates took side with the Park Service, writing in his 26-page opinion:

…the purpose of the Memorial is to publicize Thomas Jefferson’s legacy, so that critics and supporters alike may contemplate his place in history. The Park Service prohibits all demonstrations in the interior of the Jefferson Memorial, in order to maintain an “an atmosphere of calm, tranquility, and reverence,”‘

The Justice Department, acting on behalf of the Park Service, wrote in court papers:

“The Memorial is, has long been, and is intended to be a place of calm, tranquility, and reverence—a place where visitors can go to celebrate and honor Jefferson and enjoy and contemplate the Memorial itself without the distraction of public demonstrations and other expressive activities. The Memorial is akin to a temple or a shrine (both in terms of its purpose and its physical characteristics), not a place of public expression.” – Digital Journal

There is no place in the USA Constitution that the government can use force to enforce “an atmosphere of calm, tranquility, and reverence”.

“The Memorial is akin to a temple or a shrine (both in terms of its purpose and its physical characteristics), not a place of public expression.”

The Government is PROHIBITED FROM ESTABLISHING A STATE RELIGION!!! The Judge violated the 1st Amendment protection against the establishment of religion by claiming that “The Memorial is akin to a temple or a shrine”!

Yeah, the government cult members of the U.S. Park Police and Judge Bates are making a mockery of their oath to uphold the USA Constitution. Shame on them. Arrest them for violating their oath and for assault. The Judge is complicit in these recent assaults as well, arrest him for conspiracy to commit assault.

The judge is mistaken and is siding with the wrong party and failing to do his job as a sworn protector of the people’s rights under the USA Constitution. Arrest Judge Bates for treason and failure to uphold his oath to the USA Constitution.
